How much does it cost to advertise my vacation rental properties on Vamoose?
Property managers and owners are invited to
sponsor their property listing in the Vamoose index. Pricing for Vamoose is on a pay-per-click basis, so you only pay if a potential renter sees your listing on Vamoose and clicks through to the listing on your website. There is no annual fee or set-up fee. Pay-per-click pricing starts at $.05, and your position in the search results is determined by your pay-per-click bid vs. the other listings on Vamoose. For example, if you bid $.20 a click, you will appear above of all properties with bids less than $.20 and below those who have bid more than $.20. You will never pay more than $.01 over the listing below yours, so you don't have to worry about overbidding.

How do I submit my vacation rental property for inclusion in the Vamoose index?
If your property listing is not currently in the Vamoose index, you may
submit your property free of charge. If you have a website with multiple property listings, please fill out the request form and provide your website URL. We will add your URL to our site index for inclusion in the next spider crawl update. Please note that although we do not guarantee inclusion of all listings and sites, we endeavor to accommodate all submission requests. Additionally, you may add your own listings to the Vamoose index by creating an account and sponsoring your properties.

My vacation rental property is already on your site but there is an error in the listing information. How do I correct it?
Vamoose crawls websites to include the most robust database of vacation rental properties across the Web. Since our spider is automated, there are occasional instances where amenities such as "Smoking" or "Pets get pulled incorrectly. This can occur due to HTML formatting and/or table structures on the property website. Vamoose is continually refining the spider to be as accurate as possible. In the meantime, we are happy to assist you in modifying your listing so it reflects the most accurate information. To do so, please fill out the
property submission form.

My property is already in the Vamoose index. How do I sponsor and edit my property information?
Vamoose crawls and indexes all vacation rental properties that it finds on the Web, so it is quite likely that your property is already in the Vamoose index. If so, when a property owner or manager
signs up for an advertiser account, you can tell us that your properties are already in the index. Once we confirm the properties, we can attach them to your account and you will have exclusive control. You can edit and sponsor all properties associated with your account. Once properties are attached to your account, simply go the Property Manager to edit the property information, change images, etc.

How do I become an advertiser on Vamoose?
Getting your vacation rental property up on Vamoose is fast and easy -- just follow these simple steps:

  • Sign up for an Advertiser account.
  • Make an initial $10 fully refundable deposit into your account. Vamoose will match this initial deposit with another $10 credit as a welcome gift.
  • Create your property listing, which will appear in the Vamoose search results as a "Sponsored Listing".

  • Pricing for Vamoose is done on a pay-per-click basis, so you only pay if a potential renter sees your listing on Vamoose and clicks through to the listing on your website. There is no annual fee or listing set-up fee.

    How quickly do changes to my Sponsored properties take effect?
    Any changes to your Sponsored Properties, either bid value or content changes, will be applied in a matter of minutes.

    How can I submit my vacation rental property for inclusion in the Vamoose index?
    If your property listing is not currently in the Vamoose index, you may
    submit your property free of charge. If you have a website with multiple property listings, please fill out the request form and provide your website URL. We will add your URL to our site index for inclusion in the next spider crawl update.     How are Sponsored Properties ranked?
    Sponsored Properties are ranked by bid value. So, if Property Owner #1 bids $.25 a click, and Property Owner #2 bids $.24 a click, Property Owner #1's property will appear first for all searches that match their property. Non-sponsored properties will appear based on the best match to the prospective renter's search criteria.

    What are the property listing types?
    There are two types of property categories on Vamoose -- Sponsored Properties and regular properties. Sponsored Properties are those properties that are advertised on a pay-per-click basis, while regular properties are all the properties that Vamoose finds on the Web and includes in the index free of charge. Sponsored Properties appear before all regular properties when there's a match with the renter's criteria and have the first chance to get in front of prospective renters.

    Are there monthly minimums?
    No. You only pay for clicks delivered to your property Web site.

    What happens if my account hits a $0.00 balance?
    If the balance in your account reaches zero, all of your Sponsored Properties will be returned to the general search results. Once additional money is deposited to your account, either through a one-time or recurring payment, your Sponsored Properties will return to the featured results.

    What happens to my properties if I reach my daily maximum?
    If you reach your daily maximum spend, your Sponsored Properties will be returned to the general search results. At the start of the new day, your sponsored properties will return to the sponsored properties section.

    How does billing work?
    Billing works on a debit basis. You must fund your account with a $10 deposit to get started, and continue to fund the account to keep your Sponsored Properties active. Each click is debited from your balance. Vamoose offers its advertisers a selection of payment options including automatic recurring payments and one-time online payments.

    I'm not currently an advertiser. How did my property information get into Vamoose?
    Vamoose is a search engine specially designed for the vacation rental market. Vamoose crawls the Web, identifies vacation rental properties, and automatically adds them to the index free of charge.

    How do I track clicks from Vamoose?
    You can track your click activity from the Vamoose Ad Tool, which lets you know exactly how many prospective renters are being sent to your site. Vamoose monitors click activity to ensure that you are only charged for qualified clicks. Vamoose has several measures in place to filter fraudulent activity out of the system.

    Can I add multiple listings for the same rental unit? Can I use one listing for all of my rental units?
    Each unique property may only be listed once in the index. This offers the most relevant and varied selection of rentals to our site visitors. We ask that advertisers do not list the same property under different names. In these instances, Vamoose will disable duplicate property entries from the system. Additionally, per the
    editorial guidelines, each property must be listed separately. This not only assists potential renters in receiving the most qualified and pertinent search results, but also increases the exposure opportunities for the advertiser's properties.

    Why don't my listings appear in Vamoose?
    Vamoose crawls millions and millions of pages looking for vacation rental properties. Due to a multitude of reasons, vacation rental properties may not be captured and put into the index. Usually, our crawler will not recognize a page as a rental property if there is not enough data on the page, or if our spider was not able to find or get on your site. You have two options to have your properties included. The first is to
    sign-up for an advertiser account and create and sponsor your listings. If you're not ready to sponsor your properties, please fill out the request form and provide your website URL. We will add your URL to our site index for inclusion in the next spider crawl update.

    What is the cancellation policy?
    You may cancel your account at any time, and we will refund your remaining account balance. Please

    How do I respond to renter reviews posted on my Sponsored listing?
    Advertisers can use the Vamoose online Property Manager tool to view property information. For each property listing, you can view any reviews written on your property. You have the option to enter your response in this area.

    I don't want my properties included in the directory. How do I have them removed?
    Although Vamoose is dedicated to offering the largest selection of vacation rentals online to prospective renters, we understand that some property owners or managers would prefer not to have their listings included. To remove your listings, please provide your property site URL in the
    request form and we will remove your properties from the index.
