The Lake Tahoe Music Festival provides Broadway, classical, jazz and rock events to the area. The goal of the festival is to attract adults, seniors and youths to classical music through performances and education. The Art, Wine, & Music Festival is one of the newer events at Lake Tahoe. The festival takes place at beautiful Squaw Valley's base village. The two-day festival features craftsmen, artists, musicians and performers. A Festival to Benefit Homeless Pets

Lake Tahoe hosts an Annual Brews, Jazz and Funk Fest, with an amazing group of jazz and funk musicians, as well as a great selection of beer to sample. The festival takes place at The Village at Squaw's European pedestrian village. Proceeds from beer sales benefit the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. Wooden Boating Season

The Annual Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance is the first event in the lake Tahoe Wooden Boating Season. The Concours d'Elegance is the premier wooden boat show in the country. Enthusiasts can view more than 100 antique boats and enjoy delicious food and a full service bar, and browse the numerous vendor booths.

Renaissance and Art Festivals

The Valhalla Renaissance Faire is a return to the Elizabethan Era with sword fights, jousting, dancing, storytelling and "theater performances." Continuous entertainment on four stages, as well as staged battles and knights in armor amaze visitors at the most popular festival at Lake Tahoe. Merchants at the marketplace sell handmade arts and crafts, one of a kind jewelry, ceramics, items crafted from wood and medieval weapons.

4th of July Celebration

The Annual 4th of July Arts and Crafts Festival at the Homewood Mountain Resort is the venue for more than 50 craftspeople and artists, 10 miles southwest of Tahoe City, surrounded by the incredible Lake Tahoe scenery. The Lake Tahoe Festival of Fine Arts is a fundraising event which benefits arts education for the youth and community of South Lake Tahoe, and is part of the Tahoe Arts Project. Booths include paintings, jewelry, glass, photography, sculpture, woodwork, metalwork, ceramics, mixed media, and fiber and wearable art.
