Marshall Canyon Trail
Located within the Marshall Canyon Park, this 7-mile loop trail has an elevation gain of 800 feet. This trail is suitable for hiking and mountain biking and is shaded for most of its length. The trail gets steeper as you climb and affords you a magnificent view or the surroundings. The trip should take you 3 to 4 hours.
San Jacinto Peak
This moderate climb is 12 miles in length and will take 6 hours or more to complete. An out-and-back type of route, the elevation gain here is 2,600 feet. The best season to take this trail is from May to November when you can catch some breathtaking views from Wellman's Divide to the summit.
Bear Canyon Loop Trail
With an elevation gain of 800 feet, this moderate climb offers you some spectacular views of the Big Bear Lake and the surrounding countryside; you can also spot plenty of wildlife on the trail. The trail is 6.7 miles long and should take you 3 hours to complete. For a longer hike, you can continue hiking to Sitton Peak.
North Etiwanda Preserve
This 3.2-mile loop trail is suitable for hiking, mountain biking and trail running. The trail is situated within the North Etiwanda Preserve near Rancho Cucamonga; the elevation gain on the trail is 625 feet.
