All tours include a Trail Pass and discounted snow shoe rental of $12 per person. Reservations are required on all tours. Visitors have access to the full service lodge, ski shop, and snack bar. Breckenridge Snow Shoe Center is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Most tours last between 3 to 4 hours for a half day and 4 to 6 hours for a full day with the option to customize your tour however you choose. Prices start at $32 for youth and seniors and $39 for adults between ages 17 and 60. While reservations are not required, they are encouraged. Rates include trail pass fees and snow shoe rental. Gold Run Nordic Center is located at the Breckenridge Golf Course. Before or after your tour, stop by the ski shop and check out their selection of ski gear or the Clubhouse Restaurant for a snack or a cup of hot cocoa.
A Little Further Out
Located on Vail Mountain, Moonlight Snow Shoe Tours is a little bit of a journey to get to, but they offer night time snow shoe tours. Your tour guide will discuss nocturnal animals and their habits as well as astronomy and point out the stars that make up many of the zodiac signs. Moonlight Snow Shoe Tours will give you a very different view of the Colorado Mountains than you see during the day.
The Nature Discovery Center on Vail Mountain offers free 1-hour guided snow shoe tours daily at 3:00 p.m. during the ski season of December through April. The park is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. so go a little early and explore the exhibits. Equipment rental is not available, so you will need to bring your own.
