Fishing
Try your luck at fishing on the historical Anna Maria City Pier, the Bridge Street City Pier or the Rod and Reel Pier. If you would rather go for the big catch at sea, you can go aboard one of the many charters. Popular catch of the day from land or sea are amberjack, tarpon, snook, Spanish mackerel and black drum. If you don't have a Florida fishing license, no problem! You can get a license online or at any sporting goods or hardware store.
Parasailing

Adventure Kayak Outfitters offers a tour to accommodate every nature lover. Paddle a kayak around Anna Maria Island and see turtles, manatees, dolphins and other marine wildlife. The manatee and dolphin tour lasts 2-1/2 hours. If you like to walk on the really wild side, try one of the four-hour alligator tours in the Myakka River State Park in Sarasota, where you will see as many as 100 very large alligators! For the romantic excursion, there is a Siesta Key sunset tour and the full moon kayak tour.
Horse Surfing
Great World Nature Tours in Bradenton will show you the experience of a lifetime, horse surfing. This is not your casual ride along the beach. From children to seniors, everyone enjoys a horseback ride in the surf and sand. There is even a horse swim.
