Floral City

Floral City gets its name from the wildflowers that grow there. This city is also known for the Spanish moss and a long road that leads to Inverness and other cities. This road has a stretch of large ancient oak trees. Once you arrive to Floral City, stop by the Heritage Hall Museum. This museum provides a look at the city's heritage and people. After checking out the galleries and exhibits, head over to the Country Store and shop for unique souvenirs. You'll find all types of toys, art and handmade items.

Hernando

Hernando is about 30 minutes from Crystal River. Hernando features the Art Center of Citrus County. This center is the best place to see arts and culture in the county. The theater seats 200 guests and is located on 4 acres of land. Also on the grounds is the Art and Education Building. This building provides art classes and student demonstrations.
