Located on Main Street, Galyn's Restaurant was founded with the purpose of providing the community with fresh seafood and lobster, reasonable prices and a welcoming atmosphere. Open for lunch, dinner and cocktails, Galyn's is on the water.
Situated in an historical boarder house from 1890, the restaurant still contains much of the original architectural structure. Dine upstairs overlooking the Harbor or enjoy the outdoor seating in the beautiful weather the area has to offer. Take pleasure in the Mediterranean Scallops, Twin Lobster Tails, Seafood Linguini or one of their many other delicious choices. Galyn's is open March through November.
Fish House Grill
Fish House Grill is situated on West Street next to the Town Pier and is known for its delectable entrees and gorgeous views. These breathtaking views may convince you to dine outside on the dock at picnic bench-style tables.

Café Bluefish
For a creative menu, venture downtown to Café Bluefish. Definitely try the Lobster Strudel, which is an absolute favorite of the locals. After you indulge yourself on something from the lobster or seafood dishes, be sure to save some room for one of the homemade deserts like Chocolate Hazelnut Strudel and German Chocolate Mud Pie. Café Bluefish has been ranked as one of the top restaurants in the area since its establishment more than two decades ago, and has also been featured on The Food Network.
Quarterdeck Restaurant
Voted Bar Harbor's best raw bar, this restaurant features a gorgeous view of Frenchman Bay. Choose to dine in the grand dining room or outside on the patio. The food here is so fresh that no matter where you choose to dine, you will have the ability to view the fishermen as they transport the freshly caught lobster and fish in from the harbor.
Quarterdeck is known for their special Downtown Lobster Bake, which features a homemade New England Clam Chowder over a pound of steamed lobster, and homemade blueberry pie. Quarterdeck opens at 11 a.m. daily and serves lunch and dinner. Quarterdeck Restaurant is closed from November until April.
