This park has four different trails, all identified by color. The Green Trail is .9 miles, the Red and Yellow Trails are 1.6 miles, and the Blue Trail is 2.4 miles. The terrain is moderate, and the trails are suitable for all ages. The manor house that the park is named for and its cemetery are accessible from the Yellow Trail. This is an interesting historical site to see.
5. New Germany State Park Trails
New Germany is often described as a well-kept secret in the area. The park has over 10 miles of trails for hikers to enjoy. Most of the trails are fairly wide. Some of the sights you'll see along the trails include mixed hardwood and hemlock forests, spruce and pine plantations, and stream valleys with wild rhododendrons. This is a park that you'll want to revisit as often as possible.
