A Guide to Big Sky Resorts, plus Relax at the Spa & Take a Wellness Course

While planning all the ways you can enjoy Big Sky resorts, be sure to also plan a visit to one of the area's spas or take a wellness course. You can also go golfing, hiking, snowboarding and skiing. However, after participating in all those activities, it might be nice to relax at a spa or take a wellness course.

Solace Spa at Big Sky Resort

The Solace Spa offers the typical beauty and relaxation treatments. Guests of the spa can have a facial, get a massage, receive nail treatments, have their lashes and eyebrows tinted or indulge in a full-body mud wrap.

One of the signature Solace Spa treatments is the "Montana Hot Stone Massage." This massage is specially formulated to combat the effects that Montana's winters have on the skin. The massage uses basalt stones, which are native to the area, and shea butter. Guests that have this massage will warm up from the cold, have their skin re-hydrated from the dry winter weather and have any tension worked out of the body.

Solace Spa also has a wellness studio that offers classes in yoga, Pilates and various types of cardio exercises. Spa packages are available. Solace Spa is open daily. A visit to this spa would be a fun and relaxing day trip from Big Sky vacation resorts.

OZssage Therapeutic Massage & Spa

This spa has a fully equipped gym, a steam room and rain shower room. Guests are welcome to enjoy these amenities before or after their treatments. Spa treatments include facials, massages, body treatments, tinting and waxing services and sunless tanning.

In addition to the standard services, OZssage offers "Asian modalities." These services incorporate Eastern medicine and philosophies. The Chinese Foot Massage is one of the services and includes traditional foot massage, acupressure and a foot scrub made with Chinese herbs and oils. Another treatment is the Japanese Face Massage, which includes acupressure on the face, masks that were specially made in Asia and green tea cooling gel.

Ozggage is open daily and special packages are available.

Moonlight Spa

This spa is located in the Moonlight Lodge at the Moonlight Basin Resort. It includes a fitness center, separate indoor and outdoor pools, locker rooms, steam room, a waterfall hot tub and a relaxation room.

Although guests can enjoy the spa's services à la carte, Moonlight Spa is known for its special packages. It has three main packages, including the Moonlight Reflection, the Revival Package and the Empowerment Package.

The Moonlight Reflection package is three hours of head to toe treatments, which include a body polish, a head and body massage and a facial. The Revival Package focuses on hair and foot treatments and includes a warm oil scalp treatment and a foot scrub. The Empowerment Package allows guests to choose three spa treatments at a 10 percent discount.

Moonlight Spa is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Gift certificates are available.
