Since your Atlantic City condo rental will have so much to offer, you might not want to venture out and enjoy some of the other activities the city has to offer. However, you should try some of Atlantic City's fun activities. These activities include swimming, surfing, beach combing, playing beach volleyball or sun bathing. If you decide to do any of these activities, why not visit one of the city's top beaches and participate in these activities while there.
Crystal Beach
The Crystal Beach is one of the city's designated surfing beaches. It is located on New Hampshire Avenue and is a few blocks away from the boardwalk. This beach is also directly offshore of very deep ocean water. Therefore, it is not a beach that is good for inexperienced swimmers or families with young children. However, for visitors that want to surf or are experienced swimmers, the Crystal Beach is a good place to visit.
This beach does not have lifeguards on duty. Surfers are encouraged to not surf alone. The beach opens at sunrise and closes at sunset. A visit to this beach could be an exciting excursion from your Atlantic City vacation home.
Mississippi Avenue Beach
This beach is right off of the boardwalk and is located directly in front of the Trump Plaza hotel. It is one of the more fun beaches in Atlantic City, because many live music venues and beach bars surround it. Visitors can relax on the sandy shores or wade in the shallow water that is right off of the beach's coastline. They can also enjoy the many amenities nearby. Restaurants, cafes, shops and restrooms are all within walking distance of the beach. This beach is very popular with the locals and is a good location for sunbathing. Lifeguards are on duty. The beach opens at sunrise and closes at sunset.
Chelsea Avenue Beach
Just like Mississippi Avenue Beach, Chelsea Avenue Beach is surrounded by live music venues and other fun hang out spots. It is also within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and bathroom facilities. Chelsea Avenue Beach is on the boardwalk and is in front of the Chelsea Atlantic City Hotel. It has a lot of sandy land and cabanas line the perimeter of the beach. Because it has a lot of sand and many places to sit, this beach is a fun place for families with young children, people who like to build sand castles or people who like to lounge while at the beach. Also, the water along the beach's coastline is not very deep. Therefore this beach is good for visitors that are not comfortable swimming in deep water. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer. Chelsea Avenue Beach opens at sunrise and closes at sunset.
