From here arrive at the farming community of Penasco by driving through the National Forest of Carson.
Another church in Las Tampas known as San Jose de Garcia is a popular site, since it has existed for 225 years. Proceed towards Ojo Sarco, an artist's studio. Admire the work and move towards Truchas town which is situated atop the peak of the same name. Take a look at the old Santos preserved in the Nuestra Del Rosario church. One of the largest 250-year-old churches, known as Iglesia de la Santa Cruz, can also be visited.
