Sunnyside was the home of Washington Irving. Sunnyside was built in 1835, in the style of Dutch plantation homes. English ivy covers most of the exterior of the house, and the wisteria around the front of the house was planted by Irving.

Kykuit in Sleepy Hollow
Kykuit is owned by the Rockefeller family. The home is built in the Georgian-style from granite, with formal gardens and terraces. Visitors view the art collection of Governor Nelson Rockefeller. Tours of the formal gardens can be arranged. Tours start at Philipsburg Manor.
