Hunting

There is private land hunting available, and some of these lands are open to the public. Permission is not required; however, it’s best to get in touch with the state or regional A&H coordinator to obtain information about available public hunting. In the northwest portions of Tillamook, Columbia, Clastop, Washington and Yamhill counties, hunting is available. You are permitted to hunt for elk, grouse, quail, bear, predators and band-tailed pigeon. The type of access and period of access may vary by landowner.
