Three Capes Loop
The Three Capes Loop area runs along the Oregon Coast through the Oceanside, Oregon. All three capes feature state parks and local beaches. Cape Lookout is a state park with beach access and scenic hiking trails that overlook the ocean. During certain times of year you'll see whales frolicking while migrating through the coastal waters. This is also a popular hangliding and paragliding spot and you'll often see several colored wings in the air gliding overhead.
Cape Meares State Park is home to the infamous lighthouse of the same name. One of the biggest attractions in the Oceanside area, the Cape Meares Lighthouse is a free attraction open from April to October each year. Just on the other side of Cape Kiwanda Beach, is the state park of the same name. This is one of the only beaches and park areas in Oregon where you're allowed to drive on the beach.
