There are several places to stay in Sisters, Oregon from where wildlife spotting locations are close by. Sisters is home to the Deschutes National Forest and numerous hiking, biking and horse riding trails and lakes and creeks which makes it easy to see the abundant wildlife roam free in their natural habitat.

Indian Ford Campground

The campground is located just 6 miles west of Sisters and has a number of public utilities and amenities. The creek close to the area is a popular location to spot different types of birds such as woodpeckers, warblers and songbird like water ouzel or dipper.

Fryrear Canyon

The Canyon is located east of Sisters and is a popular destination for trail use and wildlife viewing.
