Snow Sport University (SSU)
Snow Sport University is a great place to begin before heading out to the snowy trails. From toddlers to adults and from beginners to experts, there is something for everyone. SSU offers award winning programs and lessons to help your entire family have the greatest mountain experience ever. Beginners will learn by doing. Whether you're interested in snowboarding or skiing, you will have the opportunity to learn helpful and safe beginner skills or fine tune the skills you already have.
Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Adventure Center
Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Adventure Center offers cross country skiing, snowshoeing and outdoor ice skating. Other amenities include tube sliding, snowmobile tours, dog sledding, winter walking, air boarding, arts and crafts workshops and a massage center.
Morse Mountain
Beginners start their skiing and snowboarding adventure at this mountain. Snow Sport University (mentioned above) offers ski and snowboard lessons and has eight ski and snowboard meeting locations found at Morse Mountain. All the easier trails of Smugglers' Notch are found here. There are 13 easier trails, including Sir Henry's Learning and Fun Park, and only two more difficult trails. Sir Henry's is the open area for those first attempts and is the place of the First Time Program. Four double lifts are on this mountain to bring you to the trails. Three magic carpets are also located here, which are great for young children to ride on.
Sterling Mountain
For the intermediate skiers and snowboarders, Sterling Mountain offers 24 of the more difficult and most difficult trails. Glades are also found here, ideal for skiers and snowboarders looking for extreme adventure. Two double lifts are provided.
Madonna Mountain
Of the 78 trails in Smugglers' Notch, 39 are situated on this mountain. Two double lifts are found here to send you to the trail.
